Polski producent pociągów współpracuje z Worthington w celu wyprodukowania lokomotywy manewrowej zasilanej H2
W 2022 r. PESA, największy polski producent pociągów i tramwajów, zaprojektował i zbudował lokomotywę manewrową zasilaną wodorem w celu wsparcia czystych ekologicznie operacji na torach kolejowych.
We współpracy z Worthington, PESA z powodzeniem oddała do użytku bezemisyjną lokomotywę, którą tankuje się na stacji tankowania wodorem, znajdującej się w zajezdni kolejowej. Ta pierwsza lokomotywa zmniejsza emisję dwutlenku węgla spowodowaną operacjami manewrowymi o tysiąc ton rocznie. Dzięki planom wyprodukowania wielu kolejnych lokomotyw manewrowych H2, pozytywny wpływ lokomotyw manewrowych H2 będzie z roku na rok wzrastał.
